The wait is over for the students appearing in the UGC Net 2024 exam. According to the latest reports, NTA may release the results between 12 to 15 October 2024. Recently CSIR published a post on social media in which there was a possibility to release the results on 15 October.

(a) Each question is worth 2 marks.
(b) You earn 2 marks for each correct answer.
(c) There’s no penalty for wrong answers.
(d) You won’t get any marks for questions you leave unanswered or mark for review.
(e) To answer a question, pick one option as the correct answer.
(f) If a question is incorrect or unclear, only those who answered it and chose a correct option will get marks.
(g) If a question is dropped due to being incorrect, 2 marks will be given to those who attempted it, whether the error was human or technical.
Students were supposed to choose the most appropriate option as the right answer, as there is no negative marking.
